Mythical mountains Říp I and Říp II – additional information:

4×5 inch photographs were made two. The first shot was made in the evening, when the Sun was in front of his west, ie. on the left side of the mountain . For the second image I waited until morning. I spent the night next the tripod and in the meantime the Sun went underneath Earth. Then in the morning the mountain was lightened from the east side. Both negatives were only brought together.

Mountains are so enlightened by the only one Sun and we can see a real scene with two mountains – Říp I and Říp II.

Mýtické hory Říp I a Říp II – dodatečné informace:

Fotografie 4×5 palců byly zhotoveny dvě. První snímek vznikl večer, když bylo Slunce před svým západem, tj. na levé straně od Řípu. Na druhý snímek jsem čekal do rána. Přespal jsem u stativu a Slunce mezitím „podplulo“ Zemi, aby ráno osvítilo Říp z východní strany. Oba snímky pak byly jen přiloženy k sobě. Oba Řípy jsou tak osvíceny zleva jedním Sluncem a vzniká tak scéna se dvěma horami.
