The Planet, 2015 – additional information:

The one photograph project – The Planet – is a digital manipulation.

The picture of landscape is a combination of 4 full-frame shots. Unwooded places of the landscape have been subsequently covered by forest.

Engaging our imagination and standing before the picture we find ourselves on hundreds thousands years back in history. We are not looking at planet Earth, but at an anonymous planet. We are in the role of an observer from the outside perspective… like we have nothing to do with that planet in the picture.

But what we see on the photograph is not a continuous forest. The forest is scarred. However, the landscape is actually familiar to us. Twin-mountain in the distance on the right side is Bezděz, which is located in the central area of ​​one single continent.

Planeta, 2015 – dodatečné informace:

Projekt o jedné fotografii  – Planeta  –  je digitální manipulací.

Nezalesněná místa snímku, který vznikl spojením 4 fullframe záběrů, byla dodatečně zakryta lesem. Zapojením představivosti a stojíce před snímkem se ocitáme o statisíce let v historii a nedíváme se na planetu Zemi, ale na anonymní planetu. Jsme v roli jakoby pozorovatele z vnějšku, který s planetou na snímku nemá nic společného.

Ale nevidíme souvislý prales. Prales je zjizvený. Nicméně krajina je nám vlastně důvěrně známá. Dvojhora vzadu je totiž dnešní Bezděz, který se nachází v centrální oblasti jednoho kontinentu.
